The Wilbur D. May Museum, by Marcus Villagran (S-2016)

The Wilbur D. May Museum is located in Rancho San Rafael Park, one of the most stunningly spacious public spaces in Reno. The museum features many of the treasures explorer Wilbur D. May collected over the many years he spent traveling around the world. The tack room and big game trophy room are just two of the museum’s most popular exhibitions. Modeled after rooms from May’s Double Diamond Ranch, these real-life taxidermy trophies are sure to shock and awe visitors.
